The beauty of Erquy is that there is something to do for everyone of any age, whether you want to be active or just to relax and chill. Moreover, it will never be overcrowded with other tourists .
Cycling & Tennis

Tennis courts - 6 outdoor and 2 indoor courts 5 mins walk from the cottage.

Cycling - mountain biking/road riding/electric bike:
A map of the numerous marked rides is available at the Tourist Office. Cycle Routes are clearly marked enabling you to explore the stunning coastal and inland regions. Organised bike discovery rides twice weekly in the summer. Electric bike hire available.
Sailing & Sandy Beaches

A choice of 10 safe sandy beaches with lots of interesting rockpools for the kids.

A sailing school for windsurfing, dinghy and catamaran sailing, diving school, sand yachting and sea kayaking (lessons or hire).
Walking & Culture

Walking - The Cap d’Erquy is a listed site of 170 hectacres of protected headland. There are 15 km of clearly marked paths offering superb views of the coastline. “Erquy Rando” society walk every Wed. 2 - 5 pm. (see calendar at tourist office)

Breton Fetes or Festivals usually on Sundays in and around Erquy in the summer celebrating Breton culture. Free open air summer concerts on the port with celtic music on Weds.

Market - every Sat in the centre of town selling locally produced cheeses, fish, fruit and vegetables also some more commercial stalls : baskets, jewellery, clothes etc.

St Malo - an ancient walled port city with a long maritime history.

Moncontour - a pretty medieval town once the centre of Brittany’s reknown linen industry.

Pleudihen - Cider in Brittany is made on the farm where the apples are grown, here is the Musee de la Pomme et du Cidre located in the outbuildings of the farm - an interesting visit.

Dahoet - a idyllic little port village with a couple of fascinating antiques/bric a brac emporiums a great place to wander and have a relaxing glass of wine or coffee in one of the portside bars.

Paimpol - Abbaye Maritime de Beauport - interesting guided tours round beautiful abbey. Followed by lunch at Restaurant du Port or La Cotriade at Paimpol town centre overlooking the harbour.

Medreac - Cycle-Rail, (velos-rails) Fun for all the family based from Medreac Station ‘cycling’ the old railwayline La Brohiniere - Dinan -Dinard. All ages and fitness! Take a picnic.
